I purchased a Warranty from Direct Buy, when i cancelled it they told me that they would refund me more than $1800.00, to this date, six months later, i haven't received anything. But to make it worse, they went out of business.

I believe that i will never get my money. I hope that someone makes them pay for this one way or another because they shouldn't get away wit this type of business doing this to anyone. There needs to be some kind of protection for consumers to prevent this from happening to me or anyone else. If there is a lawyer out there that would go up against them, i wish to talk to him.

I figure that the consumer does't stand a chance with companies like these, no matter how hard you try. But i do believe that right now they are probably back in business under a different name that is similar to the old name?
